Which link formats can I check?
You can paste HTML anchor elements or standard inline Markdown links. Auto Detect chooses a format from the content, and you can select the format manually when needed.
Why should I enter the page URL?
The page URL lets the tool resolve relative paths and distinguish links on the same hostname from external destinations. It is optional when you only need to inspect absolute URLs.
What anchor-text issues does the tool identify?
It identifies empty anchor text and common generic labels such as Click here or Read more. It also reports empty destinations, placeholder fragments, JavaScript links, repeated destinations, and non-encrypted HTTP links.
Does this tool check whether a linked page is online?
No. The tool analyzes pasted link markup and destination patterns. It does not request external websites, verify HTTP status codes, or confirm that a destination is safe.
Is the content I check uploaded or stored?
