How to Read the Estimate

The calculator applies footprint, loaded-height, and gross-weight limits. The lower resulting carton capacity controls how many cartons fit on one pallet.

Footprint

The two uniform carton orientations are compared without overhang. Mixed or interlocked layer patterns are not simulated.

Height

Available stack height equals the maximum loaded height minus the pallet height, divided by carton height.

Weight

Available cargo weight equals the maximum pallet gross weight minus pallet tare weight, divided by carton gross weight. The final layer can be partial.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the calculator choose a carton orientation?

It compares a uniform lengthwise layout with a uniform 90-degree rotated layout and uses the one that fits more cartons per full layer. A weight limit or the remaining shipment quantity can leave the final layer partly filled.

Does the maximum loaded height include the pallet?

Yes. The loaded-height limit includes the pallet height, so the available carton stack height is the limit minus the pallet itself.

How is the pallet gross weight calculated?

Pallet gross weight equals the pallet tare weight plus the gross weight of every carton placed on it. The result uses the weight unit selected in the form.

Can I use the result as a final warehouse loading plan?

Use it as an early planning estimate. Confirm carton strength, load stability, pallet capacity, wrapping, overhang rules, handling equipment, and carrier requirements before packing.

Are the carton and pallet details saved?

The details are used only to calculate the results shown in your browser. Reset clears the current plan.
